How we examine a casino

Every casino on this site gets the same examination. We sign up as a normal player, deposit our own money, play, and ask for it back. Ten doctors split the work. The names are a joke. The tests are not.

Revised 30 Oct 2026
  1. Dr. Spin
Spin twice and call me in the morning.

    Test run

    1. Sign up and play

    Dr. Spin, general practitioner

We open an account the way any player would, with our own email and our own money. No press account, no VIP manager on speed dial. Dr. Spin makes the first deposit, plays, and writes down every step with the date and the time.

    On the chart

A minute by minute timeline of the run, from sign-up to the last withdrawal.

  2. Dr. Register
A logo in the footer is not a vaccine.

    Immunity

    2. Check the licence

    Dr. Register, immunologist

Before any money goes in, we look up who runs the casino and which licence it shows. Then we find that licence on the regulator's own register. A logo in the footer is not proof. A register entry is.

    On the chart

Licence, regulator, owner and how long the casino has been around. This is the Immunity score, 25% of the total.

  3. Dr. Clause
    I see a fracture in section 14.3.

    Radiology

    3. Read the terms

    Dr. Clause, radiologist

We read the bonus terms and the general terms in full, not the summary. Any clause that lets a casino keep winnings on a technicality is marked as a fracture.

    On the chart

Every fracture, quoted word for word with its section number.

  4. Dr. Wager
This bonus has to come out. Today.

    Pharmacy

    4. Price the bonus

    Dr. Wager, surgeon

A bonus is a prescription with side effects. Dr. Wager takes the wagering requirement and works out how much you have to bet before the bonus money is really yours, and what clearing it costs on average.

    On the chart

The total you have to bet and the average cost of clearing it, on the bonus page and the chart.

    Pharmacy
  5. Dr. Selfie
One document is a check. Four is an allergy.

    KYC pressure

    5. Count the paperwork

    Dr. Selfie, allergist

Some casinos ask for ID at sign-up. Some wait until you win. Dr. Selfie records what was asked for, at what amount, and how many rounds of checks it took before the money moved.

    On the chart

Every document request with the amount that triggered it. This is the KYC pressure score, 20%.

  6. Nurse Ticket
Your call is important to us. We timed it.

    Reflexes

    6. Test support

    Nurse Ticket, reflex tester

Nurse Ticket writes to support at night and at weekends with a real question about our own account. She times the first reply and checks whether it answered the question or just pasted a link to the FAQ.

    On the chart

Reply times and a note on whether the answer helped. This is the Reflexes score, 15%.

  7. Dr. Payout
    No pulse, no score.

    Lab results

    7. Time the withdrawals

    Dr. Payout, cardiologist

We make at least three withdrawals: a small one, a mid-sized one and one big enough to trigger a review. Dr. Payout times each one from the moment we press withdraw to the moment the money lands.

    On the chart

Amount, coin, time to arrive and a transaction ID on file for each withdrawal. This is the Payout pulse, 40% of the score.

    Lab results
  8. Dr. Gambling
    No proof, no chart.

    Every chart

    8. Sign the chart

    Dr. Gambling, chief physician

Before a chart goes live, Dr. Gambling reads all of it: the timeline, the withdrawals, the documents and the clauses. A number without proof on file does not go on the chart. Then he signs it, and his name answers for it.

    On the chart

The signature and the date of the last update, at the top of every chart.

  9. Dr. Flatline
Time of death: right after the big withdrawal.

    Morgue

    9. Sign off the dead

    Dr. Flatline, coroner

When a casino closes or stops paying players, Dr. Flatline changes its status to Deceased. The chart is not deleted. It stays public, so anyone who checks the name later sees what happened.

    On the chart

The cause of death and the evidence behind it, in the morgue.

    Morgue
  10. Dr. Limit
Set the limit before the first spin, not after the last.

    Get help

    10. Set the limits

    Dr. Limit, anaesthetist

Gambling is paid entertainment, not a way to earn money. Dr. Limit keeps the help page current: how to set deposit and loss limits, how to block yourself, and free help lines that answer.

    On the chart

Not a score. A link to free help at the top of every page.

How the overall score out of 10 is made up.

The diagnosis

Stable

Paid us on time, every time.

Under observation

Paid, but with delays or extra checks.

Critical

A withdrawal is stuck, or the licence does not check out.

In admission

Chart opened. No money moved yet, so no score.

Deceased

Closed, or stopped paying players.

Check-ups

Every chart has a next check-up date. We look at a chart again when readers report a problem with the casino. If a check-up is late, the chart says so.

Every chart is signed by the real person who ran the test, with a profile page that lists their other charts. If a test is wrong, that person answers for it.

What we will not do

  • Score a casino we have not deposited at.
  • Change a score because a casino asked, paid, or became a partner.
  • Remove a casino from the morgue because it opened under a new name.
